I'm looking at this pendant for my 40' Valiant sailboat. Your site gives several recommendations regarding the max. boat length for the 3/4" rope size, so I'm a bit confused. Will the 5/8" X 12' Three Strand Mooring Pendant 100% Nylon be adequate for my boat? Thanks!

If you need the line as anchor snubber, you need 5/8" lines. If you need the line or lines for permanent mooring, you need 1" mooring line.
The lenght should be two time and half the freeboard of your boat.
