if i want to secure the Type 316 Stainless Marine Swivel Snap Shackle to a 10ft 5/8" mooring line, is it better to use a shackle or tie swivel end directly to soft eye splice using a cow hitch I would prefer not to use shackle unless it is recommended. This will determine if we need a 10ft 5/8 mooring line with thimble or soft eye-splice on both ends
