    Thanks for your question.
For your boat the 5/8" will be fine.
The snubber length should be approximately 2 1/2 time the freeboard of your boat.
But please could you please tell me the size of your anchor chain? 5/16" or 3/4"?
    Thanks.

  • Can I get a 1/2" x 4' mooring pendant with stainless steel thimble ends and strung with 2 or 3 floats? Thank you Clark

    Thank you for your question.
About the mooring pendant 1/2"x4', you can found it here: https://dbropes.com/collections/three-strand-mooring-pendant-100-nylon-rope-with-2-galvanized-or-ss-thimbles/products/12-x-4-three-strand-mooring-pendant-100-nylon-rope-with-2-galvanized-or-ss-thimbles-tensile-strength-6400-lbs-made-in-usa-free-expedited-shipping?variant=21656382242921

Abot the floats, we do not have them, I recommend to add a pool noodle (few dollars), easy to install on the line.

  • 5/8" X 12' Three Strand Anchor Snubber: I'm interested in this snubber line however I believe I may need a 1/2 x 10ft. I'm also looking for black line vs white. Is that possible? Boat is 40ft with under 4 ft freeboard at the bow and only 18K lbs loaded. I have an all chain windlass with smaller sized chain. (and I don't boat in rough weather)

    Thank you for your question.
Unfortunatelly we do not have black rope in stock right now.....Sorry.
About the size, 1/2" is the right size to have the right stretching with the specs of your boat.. With 5/8' will work as well but you lost some elasticity during shocks.
The lenght 10' or 12' do not make much difference, because is better more lenght then less. The 10' lenght is the minimum for you.
You should have 1/4" chain right?
Please let me know if you need more help.
    Thanks

  • I have a 48 foot Tollycraft that is 35 Gross Tonnage. Which anchor bridal would you recommend? freeboard is I think around 6-7 feet. Thank you. Dave

    Thank you for your question.
The displacement of your boat is 35000 lb. I recommend 3/4 x 15' if the freeboard is 6' and 3/4" x 18' if the freeboard is 7'. If it is more then 7' .. 20' snubber will be fine.
Please let me know if you need more help.
    Thank you

    Thank you for your question.

  • Hi - I have a Beneteau First36.7 (around 7 tons disp.) and would like to know what snubber would suit my boat? Also - do you ship to Australia?

    Thank you for your question.
For your boat the 5/8" is the right diameter for the snubber. The length should be 2 -1/2 times the freeboard (the distance from the deck to the waterline).
I think that the freeboard  of your boat is around 6ft. So with 15' length will be fine.
We ship to Australia too but it is not free outside the USA.
Please let me know if you need more help.
    Thank you.

  • I have a 36.5 foot American Tug. which bridle should I get?

    Thank you for your question.
As your boat is around 20000  lb. of displavement, I recoimmend 5/8" and for your freeboard 15' lenght.
The 1/2" x 15 anchor snibber will work well too in normal wheater conditions, but will be better if I know the diameter of your anchor chain.
    Please let me know.
    Thanks again
